What Netlaces is

Software for the organizations that run youth sports.

Netlaces is a software platform for the organizations behind recreational youth sports — the leagues, clubs, and associations that put a season together. Each organization runs in its own space on the platform and uses it to do the season's real work: opening registration, collecting sign-ups, building rosters, publishing schedules, keeping families informed, and collecting payments.

Families use Netlaces through their organization. Parents and guardians register their athletes, pay their organization's fees, and follow their teams — the roster, the schedule, and the messages that used to live in six different places arrive in one.

Netlaces is sold to the organization as an annual software subscription. Families never pay for access and have nothing to install or subscribe to — their organization brings them along.

How Netlaces works commercially.

Organizations subscribe to Netlaces. There is a Free tier, and a Pro tier at $500 per year — an annual software subscription the organization can budget for in a single line. Netlaces is never sold to families.

When a family registers an athlete and pays a fee, that payment is made to the organization through the platform. The organization receives those funds and is the merchant of record for them, and refunds of those payments come from the organization under its own policy.

On the Pro tier, Netlaces charges the organization a small per-transaction platform fee on registration payments processed through the platform. Payment processing is provided by Stripe.
